I wasn’t raised with any brothers,

But there have been a few,

Men who have seen me defenseless,

Raw,

Vulnerable.

Men who have sat with me,

Laughed with me,

Cried with me,

Supported me.

Men who have watched me evolve without judgement of the person I’ve become.

Who unflinchingly stood by my side.

No I wasn’t raised with any brothers,

But I have grown up with them.
